Wow, February and March just flew by! Especially since Charlotte grew in leaps and bounds -- becoming more active, mobile, independent and exploratory every day:
- Until Valentine's Day, there was not a single tooth in sight... now she has seven! Of course, getting them the standard way would have been too boring and average: instead of the usual lower middle teeth, Charlotte sported a first grin with an upper side tooth ;-)
- When we visited Germany and England, Charlotte was sort of mobile: army crawling and pulling herself across the floor... now she crawls like a whirlwind through the whole room and house. She loves to climb stairs and ramps too!
- Charlotte also loves to pull herself up and stand wherever and on whatever she can... which is especially fun when she's supposed to take a nap in her crib or when it's the planters all filled with dirt ;-)
- Charlotte does not just like to be fed or feed herself anymore... but Penny is getting a piece here and there too! Of course, Charlotte thinks food sharing goes both ways: so she often goes and "checks" on Penny's food and water bowl...
- She LOVES to give wet kisses, when told - most of the time and to most of us (although Daddy noticed that her bunny Rosa and her froggie get more love than him ;-)
- After learning how to sit by herself after she's crawled somewhere, Charlotte is now also practicing to sit down when standing.
- And it might have been an April Fools' but yesterday Mama thought Charlotte deliberately addressed her with "Mama" rather than just babbling Mamamama repeatedly!
