The other weekend, we discovered a nature gem right in DC: the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.
We visited for their annual water lily festival. Every summer, fields of lilies bloom as wide as the eye can see. It was stunning - almost like an impressionist painting. The setting befitting, one of our little artists "posed" unknowingly. (Truth be told: Charlotte was actually stopping just for a minute to catch her breath after some wild dancing, and to check out this cool mushroom!)
